The interior design of the Ford Focus ST 2013 models continues this sporty theme.  The seats are made from high quality fabric and, from what was shown at the auto shows, they look very much like racing seats.  The seats themselves are sculpted and are created with accented color fabrics to help match the exterior paint.  The dash is also very sporty and offers a sleek display with plenty of visible readouts.  A few extra details spread through out the cabin help add to the design aesthetic.  One complaint about the new Focus seems to be that the front row seems a bit cramped.  While the front row may look a bit cramped from the outside, the Ford designers have paid particular attention to the comfort of the driver and passengers alike.

When we look at the design and the specs behind the 2013 Ford Focus ST it’s hard not to think that this is meant for a younger audience.  While hatchbacks are popular among a wide range of customers due the space and styling available with them, it seems like this particular model is geared towards people who are truly interested in power.  Some hatchbacks may be destined for family trips but is seems that the storage space in the new Focus is going to be used for large stereo equipment.  This may seem a bit pointless to older fans but it’s nice to see that Ford is serious about producing a sporty hatchback.
